Olifantskop Game Breeding is privileged to be successfully breeding rare and endangered wildlife in the Eastern Cape. By breeding rare game we wish to contribute to the preservation of South Africa’s biodiversity by identifying species which are under threat in the Wild.
We have identified a number of species which we hope to breed including Matetsi Sable Antelope, Nyala and Cape buffalo. Sable Antelope are one of the species who’s numbers have been in decline in their natural environment in places such as the Kruger National Park and more noticeably in Zimbabwe.
By breeding with these animals we hope to preserve these species for future generations and contribute to their reintroduction in the wild.
